Was consulting to a recruiting firm on managing their processes and was offered the opportunity to run their business analytics group. Solving companies crucial hiring needs while helping candidates reenergize their careers.
The economic changes have made hiring a more critical process for many companies and there is more emphasis on producing results more quickly.
How do you strive to be different in your space? Is it your client support, relationship building, thoroughness...?
Through a thorough understanding of the client's needs and how the candidates analytic skills are used to add value and improve operations in a company.
What goals do you have for your business for the rest of 2011 and beyond?
To be known as the "GO To" firm in analytic staffing, to increase our market share by 50%.
How have you seen your business and industry change in the last five years?
The economic changes have made hiring a more critical process for many companies and there is more emphasis on producing results more quickly. Companies looking for business acumen rather than just technical skills Much more reliance on vendor management systems which reduce interactions with clients.
How has technology changed the way you do business? (smartphones, ats', job boards etc...)
Constant contact and communication thru tests, tweets, emails, links. Less reliance on job boards.
