What is the name of your business? Is there a story behind the name?

ARG-Independent Recruiting www.IndependentRecruiting.Com The name was the first of its kind, founded in 1998 to allow independent recruiters to flourish on their own.

What type(s) of recruiting do your agents perform?

Since ARG is made up of Independent Agents throughout North America, we specialize in ALL different verticals and niches.

How did you get into recruiting? What is your favorite part about the job?

I started, frankly, being sick of Accounting at an early age. I started my career with Robert Half and later went to Ajilon, where I became the President and COO. ARG was a perfect fit for my career.

Sendouts has always had a great reputation from my training client base and I have always been impressed with the great character of the team!

How do you strive to be different in your space? Is it your client support, relationship building, thoroughness...?

There is really nobody else like us who has done it and who has done it as long as we have! It sounds easy, but it's more than a Full Time Job for many of us, to make sure that our agents are 100% supported. We provide the most cost effective partnership plan, with the best tools in the industry!

What goals do you have for your business for the rest of 2011 and beyond?

We are growing rapidly and massively increasing our agent size. This is still a great time to enter this space, as it is the way of the future.

How have you seen your business and industry change in the last five years?

Obviously, there are more and more online tools! The concept of "independent Recruiting" was very different when ARG opened up in 1998. Now people KNOW that this is the way of the future and that the future is now.

How has technology changed the way you do business? (smartphones, ats', job boards etc...)

We can leverage the technology out there and always make sure that our agents are working and using the best that's out there. Recruiters and owners should be out selling and closing deals. We handle all of the rest! We leverage the best prices for our volume team, creating a true win win with all of our partners.

What would you say about Sendouts?

We love Sendouts! In fact, when I came over to ARG, I was asked to assess whether ARG continues with Sendouts or select other vendors. My reply was an immediate "NO NEED- Sendouts it is!". Sendouts has always had a great reputation from my training client base and I have always been impressed with the great character of the team!
