In Recruiting, Conversations Count. So Track them with Recruiting Software.

September 20th, 2012 by

Recruiters know that the depth of their network adds to their overall net worth at the end of the day. With each conversation, recruiters set the groundwork for a placement down the road. But with 500+ connections on LinkedIn, hundreds of Twitter followers, and thousands of emails in your inbox, managing relationships can be difficult without the right recruiting software.

In our latest release, Sendouts focuses on making it easier to track conversations in the places you hang out most – in your inbox and online.

We’re excited to offer recruiters a way to bring together correspondence via email and social networks into one place. So when you click on a candidate record in Sendouts, you have a 360° view – a rock solid history of your relationship from InMail to your email inbox.

Recruiting Software that Makes Your Conversations Count for More

In a business where conversations count, our recruiting software provides tools to manage candidate and client relationships, including:

Automatic Email Tracking: Recruiters can automatically track every email sent from, and received in Microsoft Outlook. In fact, Sendouts is the only ATS that automatically tracks sent emails.

LinkedIn Message Importing: Recruiters communicate with candidates and clients everywhere online – not just their inbox. Our integration with Internet Explorer gives recruiters a tool for tracking messages on LinkedIn, or any of their favorite social networking sites.

Seamless Workflow: There’s nothing worse than switching to and from applications when you’re trying to complete a task. That’s why Sendouts lets recruiters open and edit records on the fly from Outlook and IE. Less workflow interruptions help recruiters stay focused and on-task.

TOMS Shoes and Your Business

June 6th, 2012 by

TOMS shoes are a feel good purchase.

Buy a pair today, give a pair to someone in need tomorrow. It’s a great cause.

But TOMS has been criticized for ignoring the root of a much bigger problem. The argument is, sure it’s great to provide a kid in a third world country a new pair of shoes. But, they’re still poor. They’re still hungry. They still don’t have a say, don’t have options. Despite having shoes, their tomorrow doesn’t look much better.

Are you throwing a pair of new shoes at your business?

Meaning, are you avoiding the root of a business problem by tacking on a solution that only addresses an outcome of an issue?

An ATS makes many recruiters more successful, helping them to scale up, because they’re already doing the right things. They are willing to spend time on training, workflow, customer service, and more.

But an ATS can’t make a placement for you. It can make recruiting faster, smarter and more connected. But at the end of the day, it’s a person, not the software, that decides to pick up the phone and hit their numbers every day.

At Sendouts, we take the same approach to software development. We don’t add on a shiny new feature unless it solves a problem for our recruiters. And we don’t ignore the root of a problem, like too many clicks in the application.

It’s hard to market a feature like “less clicks.” It’s not mobile, it’s not social. But it makes a huge difference for our customers, and that’s where our development efforts count.

Journey to the Final Rose – Making a Match that Sticks

February 15th, 2012 by

Meet Ben.

Ben is the currently reigning singleton on ABC’s The Bachelor.

Ben is not unlike you, a recruiter.

Ben has a predicament.

Ben has a gang of women in a heated battle over the opportunity to win his heart and to be the last woman standing at the Final Rose Ceremony.

You have a database full of potential candidates.  One of them could be the last candidate standing in front of your client, winning you your next placement.  But it’s not always easy to get them there.

Ben has a lot going for him. Attractive. Young. Co-owns a winery in Sonoma.

But there’s one thing you have that Ben just ain’t got.

You have access to great technology developed specifically to give you every opportunity to fill your job order.

And with the latest Sendouts release, Version 8.8, this technology has been refined even further to help you make better matches, faster.

If Ben had Sendouts, he’d be more like you.

If Ben had Sendouts, he could automatically choose the women most likely to fit his marriage requirements.

With Sendouts, Ben could keep better tabs on all of the budding relationships with his lady friends. He could easily see which stages all of his relationships were in. If one relationship was moving too slow – reject. If one looked great on paper, and had been approved by his Jack Russel terrier, Scotch, Ben could send her out to interview with the final decider, his mom.

If Ben had Sendouts, he could save weeks of painstaking decisions and bouts of unnecessary heartache over the wrong candidate.

Ben may not find his match. But you will.

With Sendouts, you can automatically select the best candidate matches in your database, track them through the hiring process, and fill the job order. And because much of the process is automated, you can do it all without being bogged down by administrative tasks within the application.

Love can be hit or miss. So stick with Sendouts to make matches that really matter, and add to your bottom line.

Feature Focus: Dice and Indeed Sponsored Posting

March 22nd, 2011 by

With our latest version (8.6) we focused on how our customers connect with candidates, clients and prospects. One goal was adding job posting options to gain additional exposure where candidates are searching. We already have integrations with major job boards and job aggregators but wanted to extend that reach a bit further by adding new options. After polling our audience, two choices bubbled up: Indeed sponsored and Dice posting. These new additions help recruiters reach their desired targets and ideally shorten their time-to-fill.

Why Dice?

  • 6 of 10 candidates are passive
  • 4 million loyal tech professionals
  • 1,000s of niche sites for cross posting

Without leaving the system, users can post their open jobs and track candidates back to the source. Dice is a widely used job board amongst our users and this addition will be a huge time and money saver. Paired with our other job board integrations, Dice posting puts yet another tool at a recruiter’s disposal.

Why Indeed Sponsored?

  • #1 job site worldwide
  • 40 million unique visitors per month
  • Centralized searching from thousands of professional and recruiting sites

We already offered free standard posting to Indeed which is a widely used feature and were quickly asked “When will we offer sponsored posting?” Well the wait is over. Now users can purchase and post directly from Sendouts without bouncing between multiple interfaces. This in-app experience provides users faster means to post and gets their job orders in front of millions.

If you’re already using Sendouts, these features are available and easy to implement. If you have any questions contact your account manager or look-up the article in Sendouts University.

If you’re not using Sendouts and would like to speak with our team, please request a demonstration and we’ll contact your shortly.
